ALWADI TOURISM

Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information may be collected through our website, how it is used and the choices available to you.

Website: alwaditourism.com

Information required for visa services

As a visa service provider, we collect and process personal information—including photographs and passport details—for the purpose of visa applications.

The information collected is used solely to provide visa services and is handled with strict confidentiality and security measures.

Information collected from comments

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, together with the visitor’s IP address and browser user-agent string to help with spam detection.

An anonymised string created from your email address—also called a hash—may be provided to the Gravatar service to determine whether you use it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is provided by Automattic. After approval of your comment, your profile picture may be visible publicly in the context of your comment.

Uploaded files

If you upload images to the website, avoid uploading images containing embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Website visitors may be able to download images and extract location data from them.

How cookies may be used

If you leave a comment, you may choose to save your name, email address and website in cookies. These are provided for convenience so you do not need to enter the same details again when leaving another comment. These cookies last for one year.

If you visit the login page, a temporary cookie is set to determine whether your browser accepts cookies. It contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, cookies may be used to save your login information and screen-display choices. Login cookies last for two days and screen-option cookies last for one year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login persists for two weeks. Login cookies are removed when you log out.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie may be saved in your browser. It contains no personal data, indicates the post ID of the article and expires after one day.

Content from other websites

Pages on this site may include embedded content such as videos, images or articles. Embedded content behaves in the same way as if the visitor had visited the originating website directly.

These external websites may collect data about you, use cookies, add third-party tracking and monitor your interaction with their content—including when you have an account and are logged in to that website.

When a refund may apply

If a country does not grant tourist visas, the amount paid by the customer will be refunded within 15 days. If a visa application is rejected by the immigration authorities for security reasons, no refund will be provided.

Limited sharing of information

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

How long information is retained

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This allows follow-up comments to be recognised and approved automatically rather than held in a moderation queue.

For registered users, if any, we store the personal information provided in their user profile. Users can view, edit or delete their personal information at any time, except for their username. Website administrators can also view and edit this information.

Your choices regarding personal data

If you have an account on this site or have left comments, you may request an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including information you provided.

You may also request that we erase personal data we hold about you. This does not include information we must retain for administrative, legal or security purposes.

Where information may be sent

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam-detection service.
